The Chapter Seal represents the Trinity; the lillies of purity of St. Dominic, and his vows under the Evangelical Counsels of the priesthood; the black and white represent the Truth; and the blood wine color represents not only the Blood of Christ, but the Chapter's affiliation with the Most Holy Name of Jesus (Western Dominican) Province Lay Council. The banner represents the motto of Truth in living our lives and the Catholic Faith. One of the founders of the Boise Chapter came from the St. Joseph's Province, Immaculate Conception Chapter in Washington, D.C. The Boise Chapter uses this seal as its symbol in the Dominican community.
