              Karen Woods, OPL, will be joining us.  Karen is the President of the Lay Provinical Council, Province of the Holy Name, Western United States, Order of Preachers.  She is our guest, as well as two folks from the lay chapter in Utah will be joining us.

    Karen Woods, OPL is meeting with the folks from Utah, and with our chapter’s prioress and formation director in the morning.  You are invited to join them for lunch at 12 noon at the BSU Student Union Lounge at noon.

    1. MONTHLY CHAPTER MEETING

    Where:         St. Paul’s Catholic Student Center

                       1915 University Drive, Boise

    When:          1:00 p.m.: potluck get together

                       2:00 p.m.: Rosary

                       2:30 p.m.: Meeting

    What:           Blessed Margaret of Castello Chapter Meeting

                       On “Pillar of Prayer” ; “The Month of Mary”.  Crystal Collins; Phil Ferguson, OPL; and Mike Turner will persent this key pillar of Dominican spirituality and devotion to Christ: prayer and contemplation.  This will be followed by a colloquy or discussion on the Rosary and other issues. 

    FOR THE MONTH OF JUNE:

    RETREAT

              Fr. George Matanic, OP will present a retreat the final weekend of June, 2003, starting on Friday, the 27th of June.  The Rite of Reception and Profession will be held on Saturday evening of that weekend.  More details forthcoming. 

              Traditionally, we do not hold our meeting on the 3rd Sunday of June, as it is Father’s Day.  We will likely convene at the retreat only.  More details next month.
